Students require expertise in English, many also require someone who guides them, literally (excuse the pun), every step of the way. I am a full-time private English tutor with over five years’ experience and have a BA Honours English Literature and Language degree from Newman University. I have expertise in interpreting, analysing and applying theoretical concepts and I am passionate about this subject. My desire is to help the student achieve what is needed, but as well as that goal, to instil a genuine interest and enjoyment in English.

 

I have the creativity, empathy and ability to deliver the curriculum requirements successfully in easily understandable sections depending on the student’s level and age group. I have been trained to tutor to all school levels. My success rate thus far has been a consistent 90% of my students raising a grade within one month – two months for University students, the Adult and ESOL learners acquiring language skills and SEN students improving in overcoming their learning disability.
